UX Toolkit
TL;DR
I created a shared document with all of the resources junior UX designers need to progress in their careers.
Problem
When I started at Google, I returned to being an individual contributor to focus on my craft. I quickly missed helping more junior designers and signed up to help others on ADPList. After 1000+ minutes of mentorship, I noticed there was a lot of overlap with the topics my mentees were asking for help on.

Common themes from mentees
-
A fairly extensive look into the design process from identifying problems, ideation, delivery and validation.
-
Advice on collaboration, communication and organization.
-
Guide for navigating your UX career and a walkthrough of the somewhat typical UX interview process.
-
Tips and tricks for improving your UX portfolio as well as examples from designers of all levels.
Publishing the toolkit
Visualizing key concepts
Along with detailed descriptions, I thought it was important to visually represent some of the most important concepts and methodologies.
Feedback
I encourage all of my mentees to comment directly on the UX toolkit document and I will add/edit/remove when I get the chance.
